CHANEL Opens New Watches & Fine Jewellery Boutique at Lagoona Mall

Doha, Qatar – May 7, 2015: CHANEL is pleased to announce the opening of its first Watches & Fine Jewellery boutique in Qatar, in Doha Lagoona Mall. With a unique air of timeless elegance and a new philosophy in style and structure, Lagoona Mall, Darwish Mall’s newest retail avenue, offers a sophisticated lifestyle experience.

Located on the first level of the Mall, the new boutique is designed by New York architect Peter Marino, fully expressing the Parisian elegance and the timeless modernity dear to CHANEL.

Entering the 150 square-meter space, clients are greeted in an elegant design, inspired by the places where Gabrielle Chanel herself lived, most notably the town house at 29 Faubourg Saint-Honoré and her apartment on the rue Cambon.

As they enter the boutique, clients will be able to discover the Watch area, located on the right. On display is the House’s full collection of timepieces, including the latest novelties: J12-365, J12-G.10 and Première Rock.

The left side of the new boutique is dedicated to Fine Jewellery, adorned with a Venitian Rococo carved gilt-wood and gilt gesso mirrors from the 18th Century. Presenting outstanding pieces of Fine Jewelry and High Jewelry, the space reveals exceptional pieces from the High Jewelry collection ‘’Sous le Signe du Lion’’, which was inspired by this majestic animal that held a particular place in the life of Mademoiselle Chanel.

Following is the VIP Salon room, furnished with a sofa and a polished bronze coffee table by Ingrid Donat. A pair of carved Louis XV beechwood armchairs, upholstered in beige suede, faces an Antique 18th century Louis XV-style limestone fireplace. The warm decor provides an intimate setting for clients to enjoy CHANEL’s exclusive VIP services.

With this concept, CHANEL offers a bright, modern and sophisticated environment that celebrates the house’s creativity and know-how, transforming the pleasure of shopping into a moment of absolute luxury and refinement.
