Job Purpose:

To be responsible for the day to day operations of a counter within the store and deliver excellent customer service and maximize sales and profits by motivating and developing the BA team, ensuring excellent visual merchandizing standards and adequate product availability within the section.To be responsible for the day to day operations of a counter within the store and deliver excellent customer service and maximize sales and profits by motivating and developing the BA team, ensuring excellent visual merchandizing standards and adequate product availability within the section.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide inputs for the development of the brand policies.
  • Support the manager in planning manpower requirements to ensure that there are adequate resources to fulfil the sectional objectives for the year.
  • Achieve daily and weekly sales targets for the brands.
  • Maintain appropriate stock level on the shop floor and in the stock rooms in accordance with the overall inventory targets.
  • Lead the control and optimization of brand’s margin, shrinkage and waste.
  • Ensure adherence to planogram and have an appropriate and adequate assortment of items in terms of quantity, quality and price range.
  • Ensure window and showroom displays are installed in a timely manner to company standards.
  • Lead section maintenance and refits as needed.
  • Lead and motivate the BA team of the brand, treat them fairly and address their requirements.
  • Schedule working hours and shifts, delegate appropriate responsibilities and monitor attendance and appearance of the staff of the counter in accordance with the overall company policies and store management guidelines.
  • Raise or escalate incidents / irregularities that could affect the operations of the counter to the Manager in a timely manner.
  • Assist in recruiting and training of new staff if required.
  • Provide feedback to the manager during the performance appraisal for all staff of the brand.
  • Reassess stock biannually to minimize distribution costs.
  • Deal promptly with customer complaints, liaising with customer services in order to resolve queries.
  • Produce monthly report covering objectives set, results achieved and sales forecasts.
  • Ensure adequate cover of staff for lunches / holidays/ sickness.
  • Plan and monitor employee development and training to achieve maximum performance, productivity and job satisfaction.
  • Review systems on an ongoing basis to improve efficiency and service levels within the section.
  • Perform any other duty, within a reasonable professional boundary, as assigned by the Manager from time to time.
